About Us

Off Taft Court in Rockville, the Washington Rockville Elks Lodge has been a gathering place where membership means something tangible. This isn't a club you join and forget. Members show up, volunteer in the community, pack the hall for Halloween dance parties, and sit down together over food that actually earns compliments.

The lodge draws a cross-section of Montgomery County residents, from longtime Rockville families to newer arrivals looking for roots. The 4.5-star rating across 85 reviews reflects something real: people come back. One member who returned after the pandemic described it simply as a place that had been missed. That kind of loyalty doesn't come from a logo, it comes from consistency and genuine belonging.

The BPOE tradition here runs deep, but the atmosphere stays approachable. You don't need to know the handshake to walk in and feel at home. Whether you're exploring membership or attending one of the lodge's regular events, the door at 5 Taft Court is genuinely open.

What We Offer

The lodge offers far more than a membership card. The dining room serves up comfort food that punches above its weight, including a burger and onion rings that members rave about as some of the best in the area. It's the kind of food that gives you a reason to show up on a Tuesday.

Beyond the kitchen, the lodge hosts a rotating calendar of community events, from holiday dance parties with costume contests to charitable fundraisers that put dollars directly back into the Rockville area. Private event space is available for members hosting gatherings, and the hall accommodates everything from milestone celebrations to organizational meetings.

Elks membership itself is the core offering, connecting you to a national fraternal network with local impact. Member benefits include access to lodge facilities, discounts, scholarship programs, and a community of people who actually show up for each other.

"Hello this is a place I haven't been to in a libg time since the pandemic where all of us Americans were at fault for . This os the Elks Lodge . This place is in Rockville, Maryland near East Gude Drive and two blocks away from Norbeck road . But the calls Concerning prices for the good they serve needs better accuracy . When I called for the prices, They didn't tell the whole truth and withheld information by the time me amd my family got there . There should be transparency and Truth to information they give . This place has two levels to their facility . They have good parking areas in front and in back. On the lower level is almost like the upstairs but used for only special occasional events which has a barista area that serves all sorts of drinks and snacks. They have a concealed kitchen to make all your hot foods like the upstairs levels . And entertainment stage . In the upstairs has sort of yhe same but hss a bigger space . Has a huge lobby dining arwa but the admissions to get in to see entertainment bands and all id expensive to begin with . As you walk in yh see to the back theybhabe a live Entertainment Bands stage . To the right of it has a huge barasta area where they sell all sorts of drinks and snacks . Near the entrance of the upper level they have a concealed kitchen where the magic to make your best foods . They have clean bathrooms and grwat staff and head people. But transparency on prices needs better work concerning phone communication. Even though this is a good organization to be with . Better than Knights Of Columbus and VFW 's anyday of the week I hooe to join this organization soneday. The best person I met there Named Susanne sh hs a great personality and hospitality. The average great Venezuela of live Entertainment Bands there. But since the pandemic the live Entertainment Bands are moving out of town making local live Entertainment problems everywhere these days. The food os good there like hot dogs , BBQ Sandwiches, Chicken stripe and more . . I hope to go there again someday again to hopefully give better reviews with changes ob Communication Transparency concerning prices wit Truth . If yu like this place as I do , Then this place is for you . We hope to all see you all there very soon .for the future im willing to help Elks Lodge for recruiting new People including me and other family members for them ."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
